Bronwyn Minton Bronwyn Minton constructs collections of objects, using the concrete to invoke the suggestive and implicit. These collections are inspired by natural objects such as bones, wood and shells that she collects. Minton’s sculptures are visually flexible and address issues of perception and emotional response to the natural world.
Bronwyn Minton was born in Brattleboro, Vermont in 1968. She received a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2006 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991. She presently lives and works in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was awarded a Wyoming Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowship in 2004 and in 2000. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. |
